A supernatural thriller told in first person by three main characters over the course of eleven years, ‘Eternal Beauty’ explores the lives of Bridget Higgins, a young girl grappling with grief, Claire Foster, a woman seeking physical perfection while battling her own inner demons, and Barbara O’Malley, a charismatic wellness influencer.

Fueled by her trauma of mysteriously losing her loved ones, Bridget connects deeply with Barbara as she devours her online videos looking for her own place in the world.

Claire, Barbara’s assistant, obsessed with physical beauty, seeks revenge for past tragedies, and her misguided actions affect the lives of others in unexpected ways.

The story explores the masks people wear, both online and in real life, blurring the lines between truth and illusion, and the lies we tell ourselves to justify wrong choices. Claire’s pursuit of beauty masks her inner turmoil. Bridget copes with her pain by creating an online alter ego. Barbara’s carefully crafted public persona hides the excruciating pain of past traumatic events.

Elements of Celtic mythology and folklore abound, adding a layer of mystery and otherworldly danger and creating a sense of uneasiness and impending doom, leading to a chilling climax that will leave listeners breathless.

Artists in Ukraine have lost their livelihoods. The Ukraine Audiobook Relief Project was launched to support artists in Ukraine whose lives are threatened because of war.

It is a fundamental aspect of war to suppress story, language, and culture. Moved by this crisis of culture, members of PANA (the Professional Audiobook Narrators Association) created this audiobook to raise money for Ukrainian relief. Joined by writers and musicians, we have volunteered our work to show our support for artists living through war.

100% of the profits from the sale of this audiobook donated by PANA (pronarrators.org) will provide financial support to the Artists at Risk Connection in Ukraine through PEN America, a non-profit organization that endeavors to safeguard the right to artistic freedom of expression and ensure that artists and cultural professionals everywhere can live and work without fear. We urge you to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine by supporting its artists.

The folk wisdom of Ukraine includes this expression: “A word is not a sparrow … once it flies out, you won’t catch it.”

‘A Word Is Not A Sparrow’ is a diverse anthology of stories set amid Russian repression through the centuries; personal narrator testimony about the impact in America of immigrant grandparents from Ukraine and elsewhere; powerful fables and allegories that deliver universal messages about displacement, migration, and human connection; and classic Cossack folk tales that are a touchstone of Ukrainian culture. Listen as we let these words fly out around the world.

Narrated by PANA member volunteers Barry Abrams, Jennifer Jill Araya, Dave Arlington, Rosemary Benson, Anna Crowe, Claudia Dunn, Andrea Emmes, Gary Furlong, Rebecca Gallagher, Caroline Hewitt, Susan Iannucci, Elizabeth Jasicki, Tom Jordan, Jennifer March, Janet Metzger, Rich Miller, Erin Moon, Sara Morsey, Traci Odom, Sheri Saginor and Tiffany Williams.

Music by Michael Nazaretz & the Samovar Russian Folk Ensemble, Jeff Crompton, Roger French, and Kenny Raskin.

Writers include Barry Abrams, Sholem Yankev Abramovitsh, Andrea Emmes and Karen Bogle, Vladislav Davidzon, Christopher Dewees, Thaisa Frank, Teresa Johnson, Alla Kudzieva, Taras Shevchenko, and Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch.

Eager fans around the world played Operation Red Helmet for years, making it the highest-grossing virtual reality game ever sold, and the designers, The Talladav Group, are the richest company on earth.

After an oppressive, unrelenting worldwide heatwave hits, daily life grinds to a halt around the globe. People retreat to their homes, afraid to go out as violence and chaos erupt in the streets. The game temporarily shuts down as the world grapples with the fallout of civil unrest and critical infrastructure breakdowns, forever altering society.

When governments take over control and infrastructures are replaced and back online, the top players of the previous version receive a mysterious box marked “Operation Jade Helmet.” The new version is the first-ever total immersion VR experience and inside each box is a free headset and personal code to play a week before release to the general public. The lucky winners don their newest obsession and impatiently wait for the game to begin. Unfortunately, they are about to discover Operation Jade Helmet is unlike any other game, and when the game begins, everything changes.

My name is Roxy Davenport – the epitome of a suburban housewife. For over 25 years, I have based my entire life off the ancient, mental code of ethics passed down from previous generations I secretly nicknamed The Suburbia Handbook.

High school sweethearts must marry and the wife is to stay at home and raise the children while the husband brings home the bacon. All married couples must procreate and raise, at a minimum, two and a half children, preferably staggered in ages by three years. A woman’s job as housewife is to maintain a pleasant, always spotless home for her family. Check. Housewives must service their husband’s needs when the man’s urges overtake him, no matter how tired, sick, in pain, or stressed the wife feels.

For over 20 years, I adhered to the strict rules…until now.

After a series of traumatic events, my life spirals out of control, destroying each and every archaic, foundational rule.

Except Rule Number 11: One must defend their family, no matter what. This rule trumps everything else, even if the defense comes in the form of bodily harm to another.

Or until death do us part.

Montgomery – Emily of New Moon (published in 1923) takes us on a journey of loss, friendship, bullying, family dynamics, acceptance, and self-discovery with Emily Byrd Starr, an orphan who must move in with her reluctant Aunt Elizabeth, her loving Aunt Laura, and her jovial and friendly Cousin Jimmy at New Moon on Prince Edward Island.

Emily, a lonely, misunderstood young girl, yearns for love and acceptance, and doesn’t quite fit in and is too naive and headstrong for her own good. She finds her way through adolescence as she makes friends with Teddy – a budding artist; Isle – an outstanding reciter; and Perry – a hired boy who is destined for great things; and discovers her passion for poetry and writing while writing letters to her late father on hidden-away letter-bills.

Alcott wrote the books rapidly over several months at the request of her publisher. The novel follows the lives of four sisters – Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March – detailing their passage from childhood to womanhood and is loosely based on the author and her three sisters.

This special edition celebrating the 150th year since publication includes excerpts from “Louisa May Alcott, Her Life, Letters, and Journals” and “Little Women” part one and two. Foreword provided by Ashley Fontainne and Lillian Hansen.

Filled with moral lessons that are not wrapped up in the now-expected “Disney-esque” feel, these stories may shock or scare you, but they have been the inspiration for some of the most beloved modern fairytales we know and love. Sixty-two fairytales included in this collection: “The Golden Bird”; “Hans in Luck”; “Jorinda and Jorindal”; “The Traveling Musicians”; “Old Sultan”; “The Straw, the Coal and the Bean”; “Briar Rose”; “The Dog and the Sparrow”; “The 12 Dancing Princesses”; “The Fisherman and His Wife”; “The Frog Prince”; “Cat and Mouse in Partnership”; “The Goose Girl”; “The Adventures of Chanticleer and Partlet”; “Rapunzel”; “Fundevogel”; “The Valiant Little Tailor”; “Hansel and Gretel”; “The Mouse, the Bird and the Sausage”; “Mother Holle”; “Little Red-Cap”; “The Robber Bridegroom”; ” Tom Thumb”; “Rumpelstiltskin”; “Clever Gretel”; “The Old Man and his Grandson”; “The Little Peasant”; “Frederick and Catherine”; “Sweetheart Roland”; “Snowdrop”; “The Pin; “Clever Elsie”; “The Miser in the Bush”; “Ashputtel”; “The White Snake”; “The Wolf and the Seven Little Kids”; “The Queen Bee”; “The Elves and the Shoemaker”; “The Juniper Tree”; “The Turnip”; “Clever Hans”; “The Three Languages”; “The Fox and the Cat”; “The Fox and the Horse”; “The Blue Light”; “The Raven”; “The Golden Goose”; “The Water of Life”; “The 12 Huntsmen”; “The King of the Golden Mountain”; “Doctor Knowall”; “The Seven Ravens”; “The Wedding of Mrs. Fox”; “The Salad”; “The Story of the Youth Who Went Forth to Learn What Fear Was; “King Grisly-Beard”; “Iron Hans”; “Cat-Skin”; and “Snow-White and Rose-Red”.

This charming short story is told from both Adam and Eve’s point of view as they traverse their new world from the Garden through to the Fall and is said to be a love letter to his late wife Olivia Langdon Clemens who passed a year before it’s publication. It is a beautiful, comical commentary on how different men and women view the world and each other but how love can conquer all.

The littlest mermaid of the Sea King ventures to the surface of the ocean on her 15th birthday and falls in love with a handsome human prince whom she sees sailing on his vast ship. As her heart has been captured by this young royal, she endures great sacrifice and pain in order to be with the man she loves. Not a typical fairy tale as seen on the big screen but one with a heart-filled story of love and loss.
