The Art of Perfumery by G. W. Septimus Piesse (May 30, 1820 – October 23, 1882) is a landmark work in perfume manufacturing originally published in 1857. He was an authority and innovator of modern perfumes. His recipes and methods are in universal use today. He was the premiere perfumer in London creating numerous special perfumes.
